This historic home and garden, originally built in the 1920s, underwent a comprehensive restoration. The scope of work required meeting the clients’ wishes of providing updated and functional garden elements including a circular driveway and outdoor kitchen entertainment area, while maintaining the vintage character of the architecture and site. Vintage tiles and natural local stone were applied to the hardscapes, and plant materials typical of the historical era were utilized. A tile artist was imported from Italy to hand-paint the swimming pool tiles and garden benches to add the character of an old European villa.
