This residence was originally constructed decades ago on an Island just off Miami Beach, Florida. This extensive renovation included the creation of a contemporary, playful paradise for the client to use as a vacation home. The garden concept evolved to mimic the feeling of lounging in an upscale spa resort. The program included a motorcourt, an entry courtyard, a central water-garden ‘oasis’, a dramatically tiled swimming pool, stone terraces, a shady lounging pavilion, a therapeutic spa, an outdoor kitchen, and a gracious wood dock overlooking Biscayne Bay.
