This stunning project was the renovation of an existing home and garden in the “Florida Cracker’ style. This style of Architecture incorporates principles of large overhangs for sun protection, large porches for outdoor living, metal roofs, and large screened windows to catch cooling breezes. Local materials such as coral rock and reclaimed brick were utilized to create a vintage Florida feeling evoking a past era. The scope of work included decorative gate design, new crushed seashell paver driveway, stone terraces and pool and waterfall renovation. A naturalistic ‘grotto’ waterfall and pond was renovated and landscaped with native and tropical adaptive foliage to compliment the soothing outdoor room it frames.
